The operator will build on the success of the Spilnu and Lyckost brands as part of its international expansion plans
CEGO, operator of the online casino brands Spilnu and Lyckost, continues to expand into more regulated markets after being granted an operating license in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission.
This means that CEGO will now be able to offer its best online casino games in three jurisdictions, as CEGO already operates in Denmark and Sweden.
CEGO will continue its strategy of offering games perfectly suited to recreational players. This has been a key theme of slot machine game releases this year, including Diamond Express, Golden Pyramid, and Safari.
The content can be tailored to ensure that it is a perfect fit for the target market in each jurisdiction. With 80% of its content delivered in-house, CEGO takes an organic approach to its offering, and with minimal reliance on third-party software, CEGO can deliver the best possible gaming experience with tailor-made and exciting games.
A majority of Spilnu’s revenue is generated from internal games, with over 80% of GGR represented by proprietary content. This has made Spilnu very successful in the Danish market since its launch in 2012. Lyckost has been operating in the Swedish market since 2019 and has benefited from the implementation of the same concept and foundations as Spilnu.
Allan Auning-Hansen, CEO of CEGO, said: “We are very happy to be able to expand into a new market; especially one as prominent in online gaming as Great Britain.
“At CEGO, we have a proven concept and approach to player acquisition and retention. We look forward to taking advantage of this experience in the UK market and continuing to deliver high quality, fun games to gamers. “
